Upstream
Maximizing the return on investment (ROI) of drilling and operating wells is one of the primary objectives of our customers. TSE can provide integrated solutions to augment the profitability of the process, increasing the producing life of a reservoir through the design, installation, and test of excellent quality steam and water injection systems. Our customer-oriented team, experienced and knowledgeable in the engineering, design, fabrication and operation of oil recovery facilities, can provide the best solution to meet client specific needs.
STEAM AND WATER INJECTION
Steam injection is one of the most popular method employed in the recovery of crude oil, allows to increase the profitability of the well. The process supports the reduction of oil viscosity promoting the oil flows easily. TSE is a reliable and responsible EPC contractor that entirely provides Upstream, Midstream and Downstream projects having invested resources in innovation and research. When our company was established in 2001, we had a specialized knowledge in steam injection. Nevertheless, by the time we have constantly fostered our eagerness for learning all the solutions we could offer to our customers.
CSS (Cyclic Steam Stimulation)
TSE has gained great experience in the Cyclic Steam Stimulation, an enhanced oil recovery method combining three different stages. Every step involves one goal: increasing the productivity of your oil well.
1. Steam Injection Firstly, the steam is injected into the reservoir. From days to weeks the heat of the steam will be reiterated many times in the CSS process;
2. Soak During the soaking period the heavy oil is being heated by steam and condensed water in order to make the oil less viscous;
3. Production The heated thinned oil and water are ultimately pumped to the surface. CSS process is repeated until the production reaches a profitable level. The operation ensures a recovery factor between 25% and 30%.
SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage)
TSE offers its expertise for Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) for promoting the production of heavy oil.The entire process supports the reduction in oil viscosity facilitating the extraction of oil.
1. Horizontal wells Two parallel wells are drilled horizontally into the oil reservoir and positioned between 5 and 7 meters of distance one another;
2. Steam simulations The steam is constantly injected into the upper well heating the heavy oil while reducing its viscosity. Gravity allows heavy oil to flow into the lower wellbore, the production one. Consequently, the thinner oil is pumped out the well. SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) is a thermal recovery system able to collect and flow the heavy oil and bitumen out of the formation. SAGD process ensures a recovery factor between 50% and 70 .
